Moon Risin'

Just ran across this while browsing through some summer pictures. 

Moonrise at the Makapu'u Lighthouse hike, Oahu, Hawaii.

This, combined with a family catch-up conversation tonight, is giving me a touch of sweet homesickness. :)

Picnic

In celebration of Blogger's revamped image hosting capabilities, I present for your viewing pleasure a sunset picnic with the Metcalfs. This evening, so peaceful-looking in pictures, included many exciting things as well, encompassing (but not limited to): Grouchy attitudes; lil' punk brothers; critical examination of some poor anonymous surfer's activities; goofy faces; mothers who want too many pictures (but don't get them); some complaining; meditations on homelessness; arguments over frozen yogurt (toppings or no toppings?).

I seriously love this art studio. And the people in it. We have a great department.
